Meet Angelique Kerber
Angelique Kerber is a true tennis star. Since turning pro in 2003, the former World No. 1 from Germany has won 12 singles titles, including three Grand Slams: the 2016 Australian Open, 2016 US Open, and 2018 Wimbledon. Other career highlights include appearing in 17 tournament finals and joining the German Fed Cup Team and the German Olympic Team.
“I’m excited to visit Hawaii for the first time and compete in the Hawaii Open against other top players,” Kerber said. “It’s the perfect preparation for the upcoming season in one of the most beautiful destinations on earth.
