Began playing tennis at age 4.
Father, Courtney, is a businessman; mother, Rebecca, is a social worker; sister, Tye.
Idols are Muhammad Ali (boxing) and Bill Russell (basketball).
At 14 years-old decided to make Buenos Aires his training base to improve his game by playing on clay courts. Saw such improvement, and liked it so much, he continued to train there for 2 and a half years. The biggest thing for him was that there were such good players training there that he got to really see what it was like to train as a professional.
Favorite surface is hard and shot is backhand down the line.
Favorite tournament is Indian Wells.
If he wasn’t a tennis player, he would be a poker player.
Along with his father and a business partner, they run D&D Realty, a real-estate company that manages student rental properties.
Has trained with Roger Federer in Dubai.
